BRIEF FROM THE CLIENT
This company produces home automation systems: it involves the control and automation of lighting, heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and security, as well as home appliances such as washer/dryers, ovens or refrigerators/freezers. The name of the company came from the owner: Oriano Raggi.
CREATIVE PROCESS
The challenge of this project was trying to convert a product-centred client to a user-centred client. Some clients tend to pay attention to their single products rather than the advantages for their customers in using them. In this case, I wanted to sell their customers the magic, the dream, the comfort of having a house automation system installed in their homes. So the whole website was around this concept. Even the logo I have created for Oriano Raggi is based upon this concept, with an ON/OFF icon embedded in the owner’s name.
